Beacon A.C. Mount Farm Lake, Bletchley, Milton Keynes Up to 20 Luton A.C. Members per day may fish Beacon A.C. waters per day. Prospective visitors must first obtain a free Visitors Ticket from the Fisheries Officer and then telephone him in advance of each proposed visit for a Day Permit reference number which must be entered in the space provided on the ticket. Becon AC's Mount Farm Lake is stocked mainly with; carp (mirror, common, crucian), eel, roach, rudd, perch, pike, tench (both green and golden), bream and probably a few more. The lake varies in depth from 18 inches to 7 foot, in certain places, but averages 4 foot. The lake bed is mainly weed , with the odd feature to be found. Along with the underwater features there is a large island, where many fish have been caught from in the past.
At Mount Farm Lake there is two 'pits', know as the 'little' and 'big' pit. The 'big pit' is the main fishing lake, where the majority of carp fishing is exercised although other species can be caught there and the 'little pit' which is proficiently fished by the match angler as it holds vast amounts of small rudd, roach, perch with some large carp and pike.
On Mount Farm Lake pegs 1 to 16 & 51 to 57 are open all year around, with the close season applying on all other pegs. The majority of pegs are of a reasonable size
