Bury Lane Rules

As Gates will be locked this does not apply to LAC Members who may access the fishery at anytime between Dawn and dusk using their club key. See Rule 28

3. No night fishing.

4. All cars must be parked in car park - please do not drive on the grass.

5. All nets, carp sacks and mats must be dipped thoroughly in the net dips provided.

6. All anglers fishing for carp must have a proper unhooking mat.

7. No keep nets allowed.

8. Barbless hooks only. Crushed barbs and whisker barbs are not permitted.

9. Safe rigs must be used (no fixed leads or feeders).

10. An angler may fish with a maximum of 2 rods. A current Environment Agency rod licence is required.

11. No rods are to be left unattended in the water.

12. All nuts and seeds are to be properly soaked and cooked. Boilies may be used as hook bait only.

13. Fish at designated swims only. One person to a swim.

14. One green bivvy or umbrella per angler to be kept on fishing platform.

15. No bait boats

16. Beware of POWER LINES and take notice of the Electricity Warning Signs.

17. Keep away from pumping equipment and pump house.

18. Toilets to be used at Bury Lane Farm Shop.

19. Anglers are responsible for leaving their peg clean - NO LITTER is to be left.

20. Please keep to paths and do not interfere with wildlife and their habitat. (No climbing trees)

21. NO ALCOHOL

22. NO RADIOS except with an earpiece.

23. NO DOGS.

24. NO FIRES

25. No fish are to be removed or introduced without the proprietors' consent.

26. No children under 13 to fish without an adult.

27. Luton AC members who arrive before “Shop Hours” must make their way to the shop to buy their half price tickets as soon as the shop is open.

28. Luton AC members may access the fishery from Dawn and LEAVE by Dusk by use of their club key. On no account will Luton AC members allow non members to access or leave the fishery when shop is closed (i.e. gate is locked Luton AC members will NOT act as bailiffs by checking the rights of other anglers to be on the fishery.

RULES AND BAIT BANS - we do try to keep these to the minimum as necessary to support our three policies of :

Fish Care • Safety • Enjoyment.

The lake is on private property and all people fishing on site must have a valid ticket. Juniors MUST be accompanied by an ADULT when fishing.

Anglers entering Bury Lane Fishery do so at their own risk. Bury Lane Fishery will not be liable for any loss or injury to any angler or guest.

Anyone found without a current day ticket will be asked to leave. The bailiff has the right to check tickets and refuse entry.

Please drive carefully on the farm tracks and park with consideration to others.

Payment for a ticket is to be considered acknowledgement of these rules.
