A rare picture of an 18lb+ Catfish caught from the GUC in around 1996. This is a picture submitted by canal bailiff Steve Sharp who said "It was 18lb+ (18lb 3oz I seem to remember but my memory isn't great so may have been a few ounces heavier, had so many cats from different waters back then). In those days we were very 'secret squirrel' about cat captures but now that I don't seriously fish for them it doesn't matter.
