Waters Reserved For Matches 2011/2012

Members should not fish reserved Sections/Venues on the dates listed below. This will avoid unnecessary friction with peggers-out of visiting clubs. Additional bookings may be taken for dates after 1st October 2011 . Every effort will be made to post closure notices on reserved sections in advance as reminders Please refer to Appendix ‘A’, Byelaw 8  on Page 6 of your rule book.

Please check the forum for any last minute changes to any of the fixtures detailed below.

Key to Abbreviations :

(M) = Dawn to Noon (M - time) = Dawn until specified time
(M - A) = Dawn until Mid Afternoon (A) = Dawn to Late Afternoon
(A - E) = All Day (E) = All Day
Number of Pegs reserved can be found in square brackets [xx Pegs], absence of this indicate whole section is closed
All Reservations during GMT (winter) period are all day closures.

The following abbreviations will identify each water or section of canal that is reserved:-

BPFR = Beckerings; BDNM = Biddenham; BLK = Black Cat; EF = Eaton Ford;

LMUP = Lavendon Mill Upstream; NHL = North House Lake; Sc – Canal section(s);

SLGN = South Lagoon; WYBO = R. Ouse, Wyboston.

Where [Flood] appears against a section this indicates that this section will be used if the River Ouse is in Flood.

Draw one and a quarter hours before start unless stated otherwise.

 

COMPETITORS, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:-

 

Members intending to take part in any competition are requested to notify the Match Secretary by the Thursday preceding each event to ensure that an adequate number of pegs are put out. Competitors are reminded of the need for 2 keepnets to retain carp separate from other fish. See Appendix ‘A’, Byelaw No. 2 on page 14.

 

Entries to the Optional Pools shall close as soon as the draw for pegs commences. Competitors arriving after that time shall not be eligible to enter the Pools.

Competitors must give their names to the Draw Steward on arrival at the match venue, even if they do not intend entering the Pools.

The draw for pegs shall be carried out in the order on the Match Entry Sheet. Any person  not present at the draw when it is his turn to draw shall wait until all other following entrants on the list have drawn.

‘Float Only’ methods will apply to all competitions fished on or including Section 14 of the canal.

N.F.A. and LEAGUE COMPETITIONS.

If you wish to be considered for the Teams to fish in the NFA and League Competitions, please see Appendix ‘B’. Match Rule 16 b).

 

All matches indicated thus * are points matches for the Club Championship.

All Inter-Club Matches carry points for the Inter-Club Championship.
