How to Join Luton Angling Club

Cost of Membership for 2008/9 (1st June 2008 to 31st May 2009)

 Intermediate – age 16 & under 18  before 1^st June 2008:   Junior  - Under 16 before 1^st June 2008

*by purchasing a Parking Permit you do not have to pay the £1.00 parking charge per vehicle when you park at the golf range this permit is only available to club members

Proof of eligibility is required for OAP, Disabled, Intermediate and Joint Memberships

If your current Membership Book is lost or rendered useless a new one can only be obtained from the Membership Secretary. The cost of a replacement is £5.00

Membership to the club can be arranged in the following ways:-

Membership Books can be obtained directly from the Club's Membership Secretary either by post or over the phone using a debit or credit card.

Please send a cheque made payable to Luton A.C. Limited

Please send the cheque to:-  Miss J. Edwards PO BOX 1210, Luton LU1 9DB

Please put your name, address and telephone number on the reverse of the cheque.

Payment can be made by Debit or Credit card by contacting David Edwards on 01582 728114 the debit/credit card must belong to the person buying the membership book. Please do not call any later than 20:00 or on a Sunday

If you obtain the Membership Book from the Membership Secretary a Club Gate Key will be issued at the same time. If joining via one of the Tackle Shops below you will need to fill out and return the Key application form which can be found in your Membership Book along with a SAE (self addressed envelope) to the address above.

You can purchase a Club Membership Book from any of the following shops:-

Day Tickets are available from the bailiffs on the bank at the following Club Waters

Grand Union Canal-

Adult - £4.00  Concessions (OAP & Disabled) - £2.00  Junior (Under 16) £1.00

Non-members may not fish the Club's canal waters at night.

These prices will increase on the 1st June 2008 to the following rates:-

Adult - £5.00  Concessions (OAP & Disabled) - £3.00  Junior (Under 16) £2.00

Wyboston South Lagoon and adjacent River Ouse

Adult Day Ticket £5.00, Juniors & Concessions £2.50

These prices will increase on the 1st June 2008 to the following rates:-

Adult Day Ticket £6.00, Juniors & Concessions £3.00

Adult Night Ticket £10.00, Concessions  £5.00 (one night only, no multiple consecutive nights)

Members may invite a guest to sample the Clubs non-day ticket waters for the purpose of introducing the guest into membership of the club, In order to do this a Guest Day Ticket must be applied for in advance from the Fisheries Officer Ken Scott. The Cost of this Guest Ticket is £5.00  Contact Details are in the Membership Book.

Guests may not fish at night!
