New for 2010/11- NEW MOON CARP MATCH

The “New Moon” Carp Trophy match will be fished at Beckerings Reservoir over the weekend of 12th/13th June 2010.

It will be a 24 hour competition open to all Club Members and the entry shall be limited to 12 members on a first come, first served basis. Junior members may take part providing they have a non-participating adult accompanying them for the full 24 hours. The entry fee is £10.00 per entrant.

The draw for swims will be at 7.30 am on Saturday, 12th June and the match will commence at 9 am and end at 9 am on Sunday, 13th June.

All entries, including payment in full, must be received by the Match Booking Secretary, Steve Sharp, 96 Arncliffe Drive, Heelands, Milton Keynes MK13 7LJ

Club Officials may apply for any vacancies still available after 31st May 2010.

There are £380.00 worth of prizes up for grabs provided by Jag Products, Nash, CC Moore & Fishing Wizard

RULES:

1.)        A maximum of 2 baited rods shall be in use at any time.

2.)        “Spodding” and “Swim Marking” will only be permitted before the “Start” signal is given.

3.)        Suitably sized unhooking mats and 36” arm (Min.) landing nets must be used by all competitors.

4.)        All competitors must have antiseptic carp care kits with them.

5.)        Bait boats and floater baits are banned.

6.)        Stewards will be on call by mobile ‘phone to weigh fish immediately after capture. Fish shall not be retained in nets or carp sacks. 

7.)        Baited lines must not be left in the water unattended. If a competitor leaves his swim for any reason, his lines must be removed from the water and bait removed from hooks. Remote bite alarm sounders are no alternative to being within reach of one’s rods.

Items 3) & 4) will be subject to inspection by the Stewards whose decision shall be final in any dispute or rule interpretation.

The Reservoir will be closed from dusk on Friday, 11th June until 10.00 am on Sunday, 13th June.
