The cold snap in the weather this week
has kept many anglers away from the bank and all our venues have reported a
drop off in catches, this may how ever be due to fewer anglers being on the
bank reporting.
At Beckerings the sport has slowed but fish are still being
taken, Junior Daniel Glass out fished his step father Jim Tookey for the
second time in recent trips taking a mirror of 23lb while Jim had three fish
to 18lb.
On the South Lagoon there have been a number of zander
taken over double figures as well as multiple catches to a number of anglers,
the pike have started to show but none to any size have yet been reported.
North house suffered with the cold snap this due to the
nature of the water being fairly shallow and clear, some fish were taken The
best being a 24lb 8oz common caught by Richard Harding another twenty common
was taken by Bret Herdman at 20lb 12oz
