There have very few reports this week from any of the clubs venues, the weather has kept most anglers off the bank. The report from the rivers is of flooding with the river over its bank on many sections.
On the South lagoon there have been plenty of small fish being taken on any method the fish have probably moved in from the river to hide from the heavy flow. Terry Willison took a 7lb zander and Dawn Hatchelt had a zander of 9lb 5oz along with a pike of 7lb. Terry Kelly float fishing wheat took a good catch of quality roach and bailiff Danny Kelly took tench to 6lb
At North House Bruce Starling took a common of 15lb 4oz and junior David Starling also took a common of 16lb 15oz, Darren Walton had a common of 13lb 2oz as well a large tench of 8lb 12oz.
On the canal Alec Sharp fished the golf range midweek to take bream to 3lb some very large roach and mirrors to 12lb all on feeder fished corn.
The match on Saturday was fished on section 14 of the canal
1st P.Mills with 18lb 14oz
2nd K.Heaume 10lb 15oz
3rd was I.Orbell 8lb 10oz
On Sunday the match men moved onto a wet and windy Beckerings reservoir
1st J.Adams with 4lb 12oz
2nd P.Mills 3lb 3oz
3rd P.Currell jr 2lb 5oz
