The best fish reported from North House this week was a 27lb 12 common caught by John Hemmings he also had commons of 17lb and 15lb 8oz,

Joanne Edwards had a 11lb linear along with a a common of 17lb and Tony Pearson had a fish of 18lb.

 

On the South Lagoon the bailiff reports lots of skimmers and silver fish are being taken to float fish tactics.

 

On the river on the Wyboston complex Steve Briggs had pike of 16lb,12lb and 10lb. John Rutter reports catching a bag of roach to 10oz.

On the river at Eaton Ford Kevin Bullus had a four hour session, fishing single caster on the waggler he took a net of roach for 13lb he fished down the middle feeding caster and hemp but was in the last two hours the fish really started to feed and he reported taking a fish a chuck with fish around the 8-10oz mark.

 

At Beckerings the elusive catfish put in an appearance last week, this fish has not been reported for many years, It was taken on a boilie by Craig Beaumont who reported it gave a good fight and weighed in at 26lb 10oz, Craig also took a 20lb carp in the same session.

 Other anglers have reported that the tench are showing in some numbers over the past week and anglers fishing on the float are taking lots of perch and small roach.

 

The canal this week was patrolled by the EA bailiffs on Saturday along with representatives of Luton AC unfortunately they did catch day ticket anglers fishing at Slapton without the necessary rod licence, these people will be prosecuted and a heavy fine is expected.

 

There were carp reported from the canal this week the best at 16lb. At Grove anglers fishing two thirds across were taking skimmers and roach. Anglers were taking larger bream on waggler tactics at the Tombstones.
