Beckerings Reservoir, Steppingley is still fishing well for carp with 3 twenties coming out over the weekend. A couple of teenagers did well over a couple of sessions catching a 26lb mirror in the week followed by another twenty, a double and a 9lb common which the bailiff witnessed. Bream are showing with some large specimens coming out on caster and worm. 

 
At Wyboston not that many people on the bank. A mid double was reported on North House by Robert Harding with a few anglers float fishing for the silver fish. On the South Lagoon a couple of anglers fishing the first swims over night caught a low double zander a mid double pike followed by a smaller pike during Sunday. On the inlet an anglers fishing down by the golf course caught 2 small pike on sprat.

This Sunday 4th November the South Lagoon will be closed for the second round of the predator match. There are still several places available if you are interested contact David Edwards on 01582 728114 or enter via the entry form on the website. 

On the Grand Union Canal the only action on Saturday was near the town centre where an angler caught a 12lb+ common carp.

On Sunday Tring entertained Luton A C on the Aylesbury Arm. Overall winner was T Bird of Luton A C with 14lb 13ozs.
