Next week sees the start of the Edwards Predator Cup on the river at Black Cat  with a 7.30 draw, there are limited places so any one wanting to fish please register . There is more information and an entry form on the clubs website or you can contact  Dave Murdoch.

At Beckerings Craig Beaumont fished after last Sundays match and took four carp to 19lb,during the week Phil Randell had three fish the best a mirror of 26lb.Most carp are being taken early morning or  late evening and most anglers fishing overnight are catching. There are also more reports that the bream are showing.

North house lake has seen less activity this week, Tony Pearson reported a three fish catch the best at 22lb, T Tooney had two fish a 20lb mirror and a 6lb common and Steve Osbourn had two fish at 23lb 5oz and 15lb.

A few zander have shown on the South Lagoon Mark Simmonds taking one of 14lb 5oz and Chris Peacock reported one of 9lb there are still plenty of silver fish being caught.

On the canal on the Grove section anglers were catching roach and perch along with the odd skimmer on waggler and maggot. On the members only section again using maggot skimmers and roach were being caught.

On the river at Biddenham the low number pegs around the trees anglers have been mainly catching roach with the odd perch on red maggot with individual fish around 5oz the odd better fish falling to tares, on the the high peg numbers above the second bridge Fisheries officer Ken Scott took perch to 2lb and press officer Gary Scott had an all roach net of 6lb with the best fish around 8oz all on red maggot.
