At Wyboston the river is again over the bank with some of the swims around the South Lagoon under water. Pike and zander are the main target with John Oddy catching a pike of 17lb 8ozs and Mark Simmonds catching one at 14lbs 3ozs. Kevin Rudgley fished the South  Lagoon on the 10th January from early afternoon on peg 1, he baited an area about 30-40 yards out over a gravel patch with some dynamite baits pike/zander groundbait and put 2 roach dead baits over it, 1 on the bottom and 1 popped up about 12 inches at 17.15 pm he had a slow take and landed a nice 14lb 8oz pike, it  was a chunky pale looking fish but looked very healthy. 

 
At Beckerings Reservoir Steppingley, pike, carp and decent bream are all being caught. Trevor Mead caught a 27lb 4ozs mirror carp, Dave Williams and Michael Evans both had low double carp and Joanne Edwards caught a 11lb common. Mickey Stringer and a mate caught pike to double figures.
 
The Grand Union canal is a mixture of gin clear stretches through to very coloured. Carp have been reported in various locations, at Pitstone 3 carp of 11lbs, 10lbs and 6lbs with a 12lb common from 6a near The Globe also on this location an angler fishing midweek caught over 100 roach on bread punch. A couple of matches took place on the canal over the weekend. Results:-
