At Beckerings the bailiff reports that the fish are becoming more active and fish could be seen cruising in the warmer weather this weekend. During the week Mick Stringer had a fish of 19lb and Peter Strudwick caught an 18lb common. One angler had a three fish catch midweek and the best reported carp was a mirror of 25lb, anglers have also reported catching bream.
 
On North House Lake, Mark Arnold took three fish, all were commons including two twenties the best at 23lb, regular Bruce Starling had two commons the biggest at 18lb 3oz and his son David took two mirrors over 19lb and bream to 8lb. Two brothers Sam and Ben Jones had a good session taking four fish Sam had three commons to 19lb 8oz and Ben had a fish of 17lb also a common.  (see web site for pics) Another angler reporting a fish over twenty pounds was Paul Brown.
 
The South Lagoon this week has begun to fish well, Andy Smith had a red letter day taking twelve bream around 7lb two tench around 5lb a mirror of 25lb 10oz a fish that looked as if it had never seen the bank before. John Constantine caught tench to 5lb and Mark Simmonds had four bream to 8lb and tench to 5lb 5oz.
 
On the canal we have two new bailiffs Karen Richardson and Richard Whiteman this means we are well on the way to having three patrols a day on all sections. All sections are now producing roach, perch, and bream, bream to 4lb are showing in numbers on the Slapton section as well as regular carp catches, Mr Ridgeway has fished on section 6 and had 8 fish to upper doubles, in four trips he has now taken 32 fish to over 19lb. On the Grove section. John Morris and Dennis Hunt fished Sunday taking silver fish in total nets of around 6lb.
