James Chapman from Luton Beds
fished on the Grand Union Canal at the Globe PH Bucks and caught
seven carp with the best two being a 17lb 2oz mirror and 18lb 9oz
mirror. Successful bait was a CC Moores Odyssey XXX boilie.
On the canal at Broad Oak
Bridge Paul Richards from Leighton Buzzard Beds caught a mirror carp
of 18lb 15oz fishing meat in the margins.
Kevin Rudgley from Houghton
Regis fished the canal at Grove Church Bucks and caught a 14lb 15oz
Common on a snowman bait comprising a Nash Scopex Squid Liver boilie
and a pink squid Cotsold Baits pop up in conjunction with pva bags
of pellets.
Dave Murdoch from Luton Beds
visited Beckerings Reservoir near Flitwick Beds and caught two 7lb
bream using halibut pellet as bait. Graham Bangert also fished
Beckerings Reservoir catching several carp up to 27lb and Darren
Savage at the same venue had a 20lb+ Mirror Carp.
Peter Williams from Aylesbury
Bucks visited Woodlands Lake on the Tingrith Complex and caught
several good size bream a pair of 5lb tench and lots of roach and
skimmers all caught on bread on a size 14 barbless hook to 6lb line
over a bed of hemp. Woodlands continues to fish very well with many
anglers reporting estimated catches of well over 50lb a session
comprising carp, tench, bream & roach.

A number of carp were hooked during the
match but none landed.
