The River Ouse- Haversham, Bucks 25/10/09 This is a brand new venue and we have not had chance to bring it up to Luton AC standards yet! A stile is due to be installed over the barbed wire fence from the car park over the next couple of weeks and the track to the car park will be cleared as it is a little overgrown at present. Bear in mind that until this work is carried out access may be a little difficult....... This message will be removed once works are complete A new addition to Luton AC's river venues is a short stretch of the upper Ouse in Haversham , just outside Milton Keynes.
The river is a fast flowing shallow stretch and the terrain is a little challenging and we are yet to find out what fish the venue holds but if the stretches either side of ours are anything to go by then you can expect Chub and Bream to almost 8lb, Roach up to 1lb and for the predator hunter Pike and Perch can be found throughout so this stretch is almost certain to produce some excellent specimens.
