South Lagoon

Wyboston Lakes Complex

 

The South Lagoon at the Wyboston Lakes Complex is a 20 Acre lake which was formerly gravel workings, Members or Day Ticket Anglers may fish any numbered swim round the southern end of the lagoon to the river inlet. (Overhead Power Line Warnings MUST be obeyed).

 

There are 28 pegs on the lake which are available to both Luton AC members and on a Day Ticket.

The lake is home to most species of fish with Bream to double figures and if you hit a shoal bags of 100lb plus have been reported. There are also Tench to 10lb+, Perch to 4lb, Roach of 1-2lb, Pike to 32lb, Zander to 16lb+.Carp to 30lb, There is also a rumour of a 39lb Mirror Carp.

Day and Night Tickets are available to Non-Members:

Adult Day Ticket:£6.00; Concession £3.00  (Junior,OAP,Disabled)

 

Adult Night Ticket:£10.00; Concession £5.00  (one night only no consecutive nights)

The Lake is situated at the Wyboston lakes Leisure Complex. Entry to the Complex is from the slip road access to the A1 from the Roundabout adjacent to the Crown Public House at the A1/A428 Junction south of Eaton Socon. Turn Left into the Complex and follow signs to "Lakes" past the Golf Driving Range on the right to the T junction. turn Left and proceed to end of road onto the track and turn right the lagoon is now on your left. Park on the grass (weather permitting) to the rear of your chosen swim.
